This year's Young Tassie Scientists are University of Tasmania scientists who are keen to share their work through interactive talks and hands-on activities in Tasmanian schools and communities during National Science Week.

Gen Bautista (He/him), Zoology - UTAS College of Sciences & Engineering, School of Natural Sciences (Zoology),

Olly Johnstone (He/him), Neuroscientist - Motor Neurone Disease

Saranya Viswanathan (She/ her), Neuroscientist - Brain and body connection

Victoria Roy (She/her), Medical Researcher - Blood typing and Microbiology

Vimarsha Kodithuwakku (She/her), Medical scientist - Heart Health
