We are beginning Aboriginal STEM Week with a Yidiki performance and cleansing ceremony on Monday 12th August for our whole school community.
On Wednesday 14 August, Students will participate in an Aboriginal STEM Day where they will learn about sound waves created in a Yidiki and chemical reactions in fire making, Aboriginal STEM in harvesting, planting, building. Students will have short rotation activities led by student leaders and our FIRE Carriers team (friends igniting reconciliation through education).
Activities will be based on indigenoussteam.org lessons.
