Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park Cultural Centre

The Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park Cultural Centre has exhibits and displays about the traditional management of the land, as well as the local flora and fauna. There is also an Indigenous art gallery, shop and café.

There are presentations each day about bush foods, traditional tools and how the local Anangu people have lived in this harsh environment for 30 000 years.

The 2 km long ranger guided Mala walk, along the base of Uluru, is an opportunity to hear about the local geology and natural environment, as well as the cultural heritage of the people. The Mala walk is part of the base walk track, a 10 km loop right around Uluru. This long walk is best done in the cool of the early morning.

The Cultural Centre is open everyday and admission is free after park entry.
